Speaking of Clemson, a congrats are in order to their football team on winning the Orange Bowl last Friday! Way to go boys! What a great way to start off the New Year! Their football team has had a great season with an even better ending.

Back to Robert.  Like I said, he not only founded Hooters Restaurant, but also made many large donations to universities in South Carolina.  In the 1993-1994 school year the building was completed and named after Robert Brooks following a large donation.  He later passed away in 2006.

What better way to honor such an influential man than to create this statue.  It turned out great! And thanks to the Clemson University Photographer, Craig Mahaffey, we have these wonderful images for everyone to see!

Robert Brooks is a man loved by all who are Clemson fans and even eat out at Hooters! I’m sure he is proud of the football team as well!
