A Year in the Making

Both projects began at the same time, requiring over a year of design coordination, engineering, sculpting, and casting. Each ring presented its own unique challenges—not just in scale, but in preserving the intricate details that make class rings so meaningful.

Turning a Ring into a Monument

Turning a detailed class ring into a large-scale bronze statue requires precision, artistry, and technical expertise.

Our process began with highly detailed digital and physical references provided by Jostens Inc, whose craftsmanship and design expertise brought each ring to life long before we ever touched clay. From there, our team carefully scaled every element—engraving, textures, lettering, and symbols—ensuring nothing was lost in translation.

We then moved into full-scale clay sculpting, where precision became everything. Every ridge, bevel, and insignia had to be recreated by hand at an entirely new scale. From mold-making to bronze casting, each phase required close collaboration, technical expertise, and a deep respect for the original design. The result: custom bronze monuments that feel both personal and powerful—designed to inspire students and alumni for generations.
