Sculptor Matt Glenn creating 1/6 life size cougar model at the triple D game farm in Kalispell, Montana.

I spent the last 5 days in Montana studying the anatomy of large exotic animals with master sculptor Chris Navarro.  the three day seminar was a phenomenal experience.  Rosie the grizzly bear was the star of the show.  She was a young grizzly bear weighing in at roughly 400 lbs.  I had the chance to photograph, sculpt, and study the massive bear.  Her personality and gestures were amazing.  We spent the entire afternoon with the big grizz.  Day two was exhilarating.  we worked with a 750 lb Siberian tiger named Atticus.  He was enormous.  it was so helpful to see the actual anatomy of the tiger rather than working from a photograph or a book.  The muscle definition is far greater than any photo could ever demonstrate.  Day 3 was spent with a couple of cougars and and hilarious otter named Pep.  The grand finale was spending a few hours observing a large wolf pack in the wild.  It was incredible to be within arms length of these amazing wild animals.  All in all, it was an amazing learning experience that I will never forget.  Special thanks to Chris and the trainers-Kathleen and Logan at Triple D.
