About This Project

Scott Williams, a federal prison guard in Lompoc, California, was killed in the line of duty. Big Statues was honored to create a sculpture of Officer Williams to be placed in a memorial park located outside of the prison walls. This life-size bronze sculpture presented a unique challenge to Big Statues. The friends and family of Scott Williams only had two photos to present to Big Statues of his appearance; the tears of joy from Officer William’s wife were confirmation that Big Statues had achieved their goal in capturing his exact likeness.
