19 Mar Missouri Is Creating a Bronze Statue Of Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh is set to be honored with a bronze statue at the Missouri Sate Capital.

The bust will be placed in the capital’s “Hall of Famous Missourians,” which also houses statues of Walter Cronkite, Sacajawea, Walt Disney, and Harry Truman.

Limbaugh most recently took heat after calling Georgetown University law student a “slut” and a “prostitute.”

“It’s not the ‘Hall of Universally Loved Missourians,’ ” Tilley told the Kansas City Star. “It’s the Hall of Famous Missourians.”

However House Speaker Steven Tilley, who commissioned the piece to sculptor E. Spencer Schubert, said he is “honored” to have selected Limbaugh.
