As a customer of Big Statues I was more than satisfied with the quality of the project and the relationship built over the duration of the project. When first contacting the company I spoke with Mathew Glenn and told him I had some special needs for the project.

As senior class president for Clarkson University I was requesting that he craft a six foot statue of our school’s mascot, a golden knight, to be displayed in front of our hockey arena. The catch was that it was already sometime in January or February by the time I made the request and I needed it there by May 10^th at the very latest. The statue was to be a gift given by the senior class at graduation. Graduation was May 11^th and we had scheduled a dedication ceremony for the statue on the 10^th. After research with some other companies I had come to realize these projects usually take somewhere around 6+ months. Matt said he would have it to me by the date I needed it.

After working rigorously to create the design for the statue, we came to an agreement on what the statue would look like. Matt then began the creation process and put in the time necessary to meet the deadline. Once completed, we ran into the issue of shipping the statue on time. It turned out that overnight shipping of the product would be necessary to get it to my university. Matt was very diligent and searched hard to find a company that would ship the six foot, five hundred pound statue from Utah to little Potsdam, NY on such short notice.

The statue actually arrived the morning of the dedication, giving us just enough time to get it set up for the dedication a few hours later. The president of the university and I unveiled the statue of the knight to several students, faculty, parents and the board of trustees. Many were very impressed and it even left many alumni jealous that they had not thought of this type of gift yet.

Through the entire process I had a great experience with Big Statues. They were more than accommodating and did everything they could to meet our needs. I highly recommend the company to anybody looking for a monumental work of art to add value, character and nostalgia to their organization. At Clarkson, this statue will be an significant and recognizable part of campus for many, many years to come.

It isn’t easy to find a nine foot grizzly bear, that is unless you know the guys at Bigstatues.com. I was amazed that they could come up with such a creative idea for our hockey team. Our mascot that they created in bronze is one of the most popular places for people to have their picture taken. The statue really makes our arena feel like home.
